Who We Are
Celebrating Africa's
Culinary Diversity
Orisirisi African Restaurant is a sub-unit of Orisirisi Africa Ltd, a pan-African cultural organisation headquartered in Kigali, Rwanda. We are Africa's first restaurant dedicated entirely to the continent's full culinary spectrum: 54 nations on one menu.
"Orisirisi" is a Yoruba word from Nigeria meaning "varieties", and that is exactly what we celebrate. Every dish on our menu is a window into a culture, a memory, a way of life.
We are located in Kigali, the cleanest, safest, and most connected city in Africa, making it the perfect home for a restaurant that invites all of Africa to the same table.

What Drives Us
Our Core Values
Pan-African Unity
We believe all 54 nations deserve equal celebration. No cuisine is secondary; every tradition has a seat at our table.

We source traditional ingredients and cook using authentic methods. Every dish is prepared with cultural respect and accuracy.
Education & Storytelling
Our chefs explain each dish's history and cultural significance. Dining here is also a learning experience about Africa's heritage.
Community
We are deeply embedded in Kigali's community, employing local talent and sourcing from Rwandan and African farmers and suppliers.
Exceptional Experience
From the first greeting to the final bite, every element is designed to create a memory that lasts far beyond the meal.
Sustainability
We prioritise sustainable sourcing, reduce food waste, and partner with local farmers, because caring for the land is part of African values.
